I do have one plastic tub that is jammed with pretty small pieces which I find myself digging through quite often. I once made a quilt with scraps from over my first 5 years of quilting and I LOVE it because every time I look at it I remember many other quilts.crzqltr65noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1397321427108677607.post-18588476956014494432011-11-09T05:31:49.181-06:002011-11-09T05:31:49.181-06:00I tried organizing scraps into sizes but that didn...I tried organizing scraps into sizes but that didn't work for me. That grouping then becomes the stock for a series.

The project in mind gets priority and once totally cut out, the rest of the materials get die cut into kits. by the end of die cutting all that is left is strings, crumbs and applique.

my goal is to bust my stash by shopping it first and then having kits I can do for quick projects or give aways,
When I have left over sqs or triangles I add them to the crumb tub.

When strings or crumbs get to full I pull out enough for a top and bag it up for a future TO DO or a give away kit.

I did get the 1 1/2" die for the GO so I hope to see many scrappy TO DO's in my future.Cheryl Willishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11381571396901353377noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1397321427108677607.post-33038260022299127472011-11-08T10:56:22.150-06:002011-11-08T10:56:22.150-06:00MY GROCER USES CLEAR CARTONS FOR FRESH FRUIT+VEG+T...MY GROCER USES CLEAR CARTONS FOR FRESH FRUIT+VEG+THESE MAKE NEAT STORAGE UNITS FOR SCRAPS.THE GRAPE TOMATO ONE IS EXACTLY THE SIZE OF A CHARM SQUARE.
