In fact I plan to take the FQs that I've been shuffling around and process them into dimes, nickels and pennies and give your techniques a try. Then I can buy some new fabrics that I will actually use but have a couple of neat quilts besides! Not only are they affordable and you can make so many things with them, you can identify the whole line of fabric by the numbers on the back of each packet so that you can order fabric online and get the color shade that you "expected."
