Block #24 - Outtakes

Vanessa's block this week is one of my favorite star blocks - EVER! Made up in my Freedom Road fabric, it's convincing me to make a whole quilt out of this block. Tammy chose a great selection of reds, tans and blues for her version of Outtakes.

 Block #23 - Gentleman's Fancy

Brenda Riddle brings us a classic block this week in Gentleman's Fancy. I loved reading her inspiration for this block on her blog HERE. What a wonderful tribute to her Dad.

My KT piecer, Tammy Kuntz, featured our new red/tan/blue Freedom Road fabric perfectly in her version of the block. I can't wait to get my hands on all the lovely blocks she's made to start planning my layout of the Block Heads 4 quilt.

 Block#22 - Star Patch

Sherri McConnell gives us a fun star block this week that incorporates several timeless elements - 9-patch, stars and connecting corners. She explains her choices on her blog (link below). Tammy used my new Freedom Road fabric to perfection surrounding the red/tan 9-patch with blue star points. I can't wait to see the whole quilt come together!
