I love a good snow day during the winter months. Most years, by the end of January, if there's no snow in the forecast, I declare a snow day as a good excuse to stay in, stay warm and sew all day. It's a good chance to check off a few UFO's on my list. The next step is to have my project quilted, so I need backing. I love the Moda 108" wide backing since it's large enough for most of my quilts and requires no piecing. Additionally, you can flip your quilt on it's side to save fabric, too.

It's also a great deal if you figure cost per square inch. Retail price of 45" wide fabric is about $13-14/yard. Our 108" wide backing is the same great quality for only $18/yard for more than twice the amount. What a deal!
