I'm enjoying the cooler evenings this week that signal fall is just around the corner. For me, before I unpack all of the pumpkins, September is sunflower season. Here in Kansas, the sunflowers are blooming everywhere! Wild or sown, in gardens or along country roads, these grand beauties are the beloved jewels in the Kansas landscape.
