Love the Heart of the Home quilt & runner, so very nice! The Christmas Cactus Charm is a nice, too. I really love them all, but the ones I mentioned are my favorite. It would be so much fun to win your bag of strippy scraps. I would have so much fun playing with them & deciding what I would make with them, then I would more enjoyment making a KT quilt. ReplyDeleteI love to make binding strips because I do my binding, after it is applied by machine, by hand, watching tv.
ReplyDeleteSewing on a scrappy binding is the most relaxing part of quilt making for me. All the decisions have been made and I can sit quietly and enjoy the calm of hand stitching while I appreciate my almost finished quilt.

Then I use these very long strips to crochet small rugs. I can do that in the car while riding as a passenger and not get nauseous like I do when I try to read. Waste not, want not. 😀
