Mini Table Treats featuring KT Kut-ups
I've been playing with our KT Kut-ups this spring to make a few small, easy projects featuring our precut fusible applique packs. I hate to admit, it's kinda getting out of hand. I started with a couple of my 17" round Mini Table Treats, and just couldn't stop! It's like eating chips, just one isn't enough. My Mini Table Treats (MTT) are so fast, you'll be whipping down binding in less than 3 hours.
1. cut circles
2. layer with batting and backing; quilt
3. position KT Kut-ups precut appliqes & fuse in place; topstitch
4. bind
Seriously, it's that easy!
As for the options, with the precut fusible KT Kut-ups ready to go, one Mini Table Treat turned into a cute pillow topper, then a pillow sleeve, but if you don't stitch the pillow sleeve into a tube, you have a great sized table topper, so, that prompted a runner with the applique on both ends. Whew! Let me show you what I've done.
Spring Day MTT pattern w/4 options- $5.00/KT Kut-ups $19.95 |
Spring Day is bursting with tulips and a sweet butterfly with a few buttons for fun. One pack of Spring Day KT Kut-ups has all the pieces needed for any of the projects, except the runner (you'll need 2 packs). They're so fast to whip up, I'm making pillows and table toppers to match for my favorite chair and end table.
Here's another favorite for spring & summer - Songbird. I love the simplicity of this one. (My Mom loves birds, so check that off the Christmas list.) It's the perfect backdrop for a bouquet of fresh cut flowers or glowing candle.

When my new Harvest Hill fabric line arrived before market, I couldn't resist a little fall in the mix. Here are the Harvest Hill MTT and options - something for every home decorating wish. Don't you love pumpkins and cattails?

Oh my gosh, choose only one of your new and gorgeous patterns? After many movements of enlarging the pictures, I finally have it narrowed down to spring and harvest. And am stuck! I love both patterns equally, and can't say I love one or the other. I say Spring, and I say Harvest.
ReplyDeleteLike your mom, my mom loved birds--she was always throwing open the windows so we could hear the birds sing. I would surely choose Songbird, to make a table topper that would remind me of my mother.
ReplyDeleteIt would be hard to pick just one. I need to make more spring items because I tend to leave my snowman things out until it is almost summer and time for them to melt. Fall is my favorite time of the year so I have a lot of fall décor. I find that I am wanting to make more Americana décor to leave up most of the time. So right now my best guess would be, Liberty. Happy Birthday Lynne!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful. IT is difficult to choose one, but I love the songbirds.
ReplyDeleteOh my! I love them all but I would have to say that Spring Day is my favorite. 18 years ago we named our farm Four Seasons Farm, for many reasons, but one was because we had four sons, one born in each seaSON. I've always enjoyed patterns that included Four Seasons decor since that fits so well with our farm. These are perfect!
ReplyDeleteWithout a doubt, Autumn is my favorite. I love the colors of Autumn and they tend to be all over my house (all the time).
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE it if you would create more kut-ups for lots of other birds. How awesome would it be to make a quilt that had various birds in each of the blocks. I live in Vermont, so have my favorite birds for sure. Maybe you could do "regional bird kut-ups packags".
Thanks for all you do!

Lovely patterns! The songbird is my favorite! It would be perfect in my music room!! Table toppers are so fun to make because they do go together so quickly! Thanks for so many options!
ReplyDeleteLove your Mini Table Treats with KT Kutups. They go together so fast like you say. If I had to choose one it would be Liberty but I like them all. Early Happy Birthday Lynne.
ReplyDeleteLove the mini table treats and the KT Kutups are a real treat!! Hard to pick just one - but I'm lovin' the tulips!
ReplyDeleteI've been concentrating on making more patriotic quilts so my pick would have to be Liberty!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is definitely Songbirds. Just beautiful! I do have a question though. Does the pack of Kutups include enough for both ends of the table runner or would I need to purchase two packs?
ReplyDeleteEach pack of Kut-ups is enough for a MTT table topper of the pillows. Two sets would be needed for the runner.
DeleteHow to decide a favorite?? I usually always pick a Fall motif but I am leaning to the Liberty right now. Thanks for the wonderful, fun giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI love autumn! The pumpkin ones are my favorite. Your KT Kutups are amazing! I wouldn't mind seeing some snowman KT Kutups for winter. One of the MANY reasons that I love your fabrics is the navy.
ReplyDeleteSo difficult to choose - they're all wonderful! I'd probably want to do songbirds first so I guess that would be my favorite right now. Thanks for all your fabrics & designs as well as the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteSpring day is my favorite, but, I love them all!
ReplyDeleteWow, so hard to choose, love songbirds, love tulips and pumpkins, but the 4th of July, Liberty is speaking to me right now. Just love it! Thanks for a chance to win.
ReplyDeleteCarmen M.
Spring Day is my favorite. I can see so many variations happening with this one...different colors for the flowers.
ReplyDeleteDifferent flowers even!
Thank you for the giveaway!!
They are all beautiful! But my fav is the liberty. Love me some red white and blue!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is Spring Day followed closely by all the others. Great patterns
ReplyDeleteHow sweet and fast are these patterns. I love the Fall Harvest, but Liberty comes in at a very close second beings my b-day is the Forth of July! :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is Spring Day, with Songbird second.
ReplyDeleteI can't choose between Spring Day and Songbird. These are all such nice patterns and I love making runners and table toppers to change my decor in a flash!
ReplyDeleteSpring Day is my favorite but Liberty is pretty cool also!
ReplyDeleteAs someone else remarked, all of the designs are equally nice but I'm going to pick the songbird. Through the winter I'm watching the bird feeder to see who is there but I enjoy seeing the summer birds come back and the babies start chirping in the nests while I do yard work. The fall pumpkins are my 2nd choice as that's a whole different colorful season.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful, so difficult, I can't choose! I think I have to do all of them. My b-day is also in July!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to you!!!
Like your Mom, I love birds, so it would be Songbirds for me.
ReplyDeleteI would have to choose Songbirds. Thanks for the opportunity to win.
ReplyDeleteTulips? Songbirds? How could I possibly choose. They're all great. Thanks for a chance to win.
ReplyDeleteSpring Day is my favorite, if I had to chose. I love them all !
ReplyDeleteLove the new KT Kut-Ups! Spring Day is the favorite, but Liberty is a close second! They're all great, it's hard to choose.
ReplyDeleteThis is genius!! If I have to pick just one it would be the Spring Day kit but they are all fabulous!!!
ReplyDeleteI like them all.. I love patriotic themed projects so would choose this one, but the Fall pumpkins are high on my list too.
ReplyDeleteHard to choose!! I think the patriotic one would be my choice...all are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteHarvest Hill is my favorite because I love fall and my son's birthday is on Halloween.
ReplyDeleteMaribeth
Lovely. I'm all about patriotism, so of course my eyes went to your liberty pattern. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteHard choice to make! They are all wonderful. But, if you make me, I would have to choose Liberty.
