Happy Holidays! 

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to think about Thanks-Christmas for the next few weeks. I'm holding off setting up the tree for now, but I did take some time to inventory my Christmas boxes last weekend. It's amazing how much stuff I've accumulated for a holiday that only really lasts a month! With a four-year-old around several days a week, we'll keep out a Santa or two and definitely have the advent calendar filled up. She loved the scavenger hunt for a treat each day last year and is already asking when it's time to start again this year. 

I'm trying to focus more on winter decor vs. strictly Christmas the past few years - deer, trees, snow, lights & greenery last through February. I love how cozy the house feels with candles and strings of lights along with the fireplace glowing in the evenings.
