Happy First Day of Spring!

I've been so busy packing for my trip to Oshkosh, WI to teach this weekend that I missed posting yesterday. For those of you who stopped by, so sorry. The random number generator picked a bigger number this week - #59 - so that means Carol is the lucky winner of the 3-pack of KT Stash patterns. Please email your address and be patient since I won't be home to send your patterns until April. Thanks to everyone for your delightful critter and grandkid stories. Definitely got a chuckle out of them.

This week's goodies up for grabs - 3 of our most popular charm patterns, KT Classic Charm, Prairie Medley and Wildflower Baskets - all just perfect for spring stitching!

There might even be a few charm squares thrown in to get you started.

Gotta run. Lots of packing to finish. Update next Monday. Check back for a sneak peek at the April KT Stash project.

Know of any good antique stores between Kansas and WI?

  12. Hi there, hope you had fun traveling and will have fun on your next adventure! I have a question...we are taking a family roadtrip end of May, and will be traveling through Kansas on our way to De Smet, SD (to see the Little House on the Prairie Homestead). Where in Kansas do you recommend seeing? We are big into history and prairie anything! :)

  13. We have 3 antique stores here in Bedford...and you could come see me and all my antiques and quilts! Spend the night if ya want...hubby is gone til Friday or Sat. When we used to come to your retreats, it would take us about 4-5 hours to get there. I don't really have many antiques for sale, but I do have a few kits made from vintage fabrics. I would love to have you stop by!
If you go through St. Joe, the Jesse James antique store is great and in Des Moines, the Brass Armadillo. I know there's also a fun place along Interstate 35 before you go out of Iowa. Email me if ya want more info.
