Exciting week at KT Bernina Quilt Shop & Emporium

Last week was an exciting time at at KT Bernina.  I crashed Lynne's quilt program,  welcomed a busload of 52 enthusiastic quilters from Grand Island, NE, and ten more from Wakefield, KS.  In my spare time I was able to service a serger and a couple sewing machines and set up some new displays for the store.

Silver Needles Quilt Guild

Lynne was invited by Silver Needles to do her quilt presentation and, of course, I was needed to hold up the quilts for all to see.  Since I had a captive audience I jumped at the chance to promote KT Bernina Quilt Shop and Emporium.  I brought along the Bernina 550 QE sewing machine and showcased the 710 sewing machine with the Bernina Stitch Regulator.  It was fun watching thequilter's try out freemotion BSR quilting.

A flock of wool bird pincushons landed at the store.

Looking forward to an entertaining and educational conference attending Bernina U in San Francisco,CA this weekend.  Planning to take advantage of the many classes and presentations showcasing what's new and exciting with Bernina. Stay tuned for a recap of my adventure!

  1. Inspired. The flock of birds looks fabulous, I may have to make these just so I can have 'scene' on my window sill of birds!!!

  2. Love the wool birds! Hope your trip to SF is fun and that you have great classes!
I'm trying to send another email to you...hope you get it. My addy is lorismills at charter dot net if it doesn't get to you.

  3. Does your quilt shop do mail order? I would love to have one of those wool bird pin cushions! I love wool and I collect blue birds!

  4. Lucky ladies on the bus!!! Oh, how I wish I lived closer. I also wonder about mail order as I would love to be able to shop at your scrumptious shop.

  5. For the wool birds, check out Primpenny at Etsy. The lovely lady there makes them for us. For KT products, go to our website at I'm working on adding new items while Robert's away.
