  6. Right now, our plans are up in the air. It all depends on when my step brother can get in town. He recently moved to WV for his job, so we do things whenever he is around.

My sister and I alternate Thanksgiving and Christmas, so for Thanksgiving we'll be hosting - that's a day of cooking for me to serve a traditional Thanksgiving meal for ... 4 people! 18. Thanksgiving will have just my husband & myself (& the 2 kitties). On Wednesday I cook a whole chicken in my crockpot, so I'll have lots of broth (& giblets) to make gravy, because on Thanksgiving I cook a turkey breast in the crockpot, and even though there's just the two of us, there's not enough gravy from just the breast for my husband. Happy Thanksgiving & thanks for the chance to win.

Then on the weekend, up to Missouri for my husband's family to get together with more of the same, then Sunday with 'Old Timer's day" at church with more good food and fellowship with friends and family. I'm so thankful for it all!

  40. My favorite Thanksgiving was when my mom's entire family was at Granny's house. My mom had 11 siblings. Each sibling had between 3-6 children. I have 42 cousins and it was a crazy, wonderful time with all of them. Granny's house wasn't large, but somehow we all fit in. We ate in shifts, youngest first and then spent the rest of the day running and having fun outside. Wonderful memory.

  46. Well Hello there.
My favortie Thanksgving was when I was 9 y.o. and my birthday fell on Thanksgiving that year. The tradition in our house was Mom would make your favorite meal on your birthday! Mine was spagetti and meatballs, so for Thanksgiving dinner we had spagetti and meatballs. Because birthdays always took priority. I also got my own rocking chair and a Raggedy Ann and Andy doll set, I still have my Ann and Andy dolls.
Pssssst November has only 30 days not 31.
    Have a great day :)))
