KT Winner
Congrats to Allison! You're the winner of last weeks blog giveaway.- My favorite flowers in my garden are the coneflowers. I have over a dozen different kinds and they are all beautiful in their own unique ways. I love the lap quilt! Clara must have been an amazing woman.ReplyDelete
Clara's Garden
If you prefer piecing over applique, this is the project for you. All the blocks are simply 9-patches layered with our wedges cut from a Jelly Roll. This time, we placed them randomly for a scrappier, less planned look. What a great quilt for a wedding or anniversary - rings without the stress! Project included in Clara's Garden booklet (retail $10.95). I also created a wedge template for easier cutting (KT Wedge Template $7.95).

Here's the perfect little table topper using just one of the Clara's Garden blocks. A single 9-patch plus 8 of the layered wedges in the same print make this circular project easy to whip up in just about 3 hours!

Somehow this didn't post last week as expected. I admit I was laying on the beach in Florida while typing, but it looked like it had posted. Sorry I can't send a bit of warm sunshine to each of you. Instead, if you comment here, I'll share a Clara's Garden booklet with the projects above plus last week's and a Jelly Roll to get you started.
I'll be home thru the holidays so watch for more Clara's Garden inspiration next week and our annual 12 Days of Christmas Giveaway in December. So much fun stuff to win!
I hope you have enjoyed your visit to Florida. Today it has turned very cold. We are forecast for 38 degrees tonight :-( I think I need to pull out the quilts!

As I write this I'm awaiting the arrival of your Layers of Love book and Hexagon template ruler from my Black Friday shopping spree online! I love to make quilt blocks into pillows for my home and my kids college apartments. Thanks for sharing your talents and time with us.
