Office supplies stores are one of my favorite places to shop for my sewing room accessories.
Can not pass up office supplies for my other hobby, genealogy ! The best time of the year to buy them is now. Off to check out the sales.
I love all the boxes and trays at office supply stores...totally addicted.
I agree, we do need fun and inspirational things to surround us. One of my favorite office supply items is a file box where I store my favorite patterns.
I love shopping for school supplies as much as my grandkids do. And every year I have to have some for me too. Can't help myself. :)
I love the back to school sales. There are often many items I can't resist.
Nothing like a brand new notebook with all clean pages.
I'm with you. Why should the kids get all the fun stuff to go back to school. We use the same things and need the fun in our lives too.
Have fun in Hamilton! I was there for the first time last week and had a blast going from shop to shop. It was almost overwhelming, there was so much to look at. Sandy A
Back to school means back to work for me...always a bittersweet time of year knowing winter...and snow!...are just around the corner. The fabric is sure pretty.
Our grandchildren are starting back to school also. Our only granddaughter still in school starts next Monday as a freshman in college, and our only grandson still in school started today as a senior in highschool. An organization I belong to collects school supplies and personal items plus for a local Indian school so I get to buy school supplies that I can't really use and donate them. Love your fabric.
I agree that it is a lot of fun buying school/office supplies. It was always a fun time for me growing up and I still enjoy going to Office Supply stores and browsing. Things are so much more colorful and fun than when I was school age. Our church collects school supplies for needy families and another organization puts together backpacks filled with supplies that we contribute to. I love the Sunflower Song fabrics and will have to take advantage of your sale!
I LOVE office supplies - so many useful things for all over the house
It is fun buying/repurposing school supplies into items that work in my sewing room along with those we buy to "stuff the bus" for the distribution to students in need.
I love the smell of school supplies! Crazy! It's a fun time of year seeing everything out for school or quilters! My embroidery scissors are polka dotted because I wholeheartedly agree with you - we need lovely, whimsical things around us!
After buying school supplies, my granddaughter, who is a senior this year, says, "Grandma, come with me and help decorate my locker." Another memory for keeping.
Beautiful fabric, look forward to having a quilt with it. Thanks!
It is always fun to shop for new school supplies! I stock up now and put them in salvation army Christmas stockings and operation Christmas boxes.

I also love to stock up on those supplies,we adopted 5 grandchildren and it seems like we never have enough to go around. Have to grab those deals..just like your fabric deals! I am also headed to MSQC at the end of September for a retreat,so excited. Super excited to hear the cruise updates soon too!
Thank you for the sale! Got some to add to my KT stash. Will never get tired of your luscious fabrics!
This fabric is sew pretty. I love to have any of your fabrics in my stash but then I have a hard time cutting into them as they are all sew pretty. Thanks for the great giveaway.
I also love to back to school shop, even though I haven't had to do it for years. At Christmas time I love to restock the grand children's school supplies.
Love your ideas from the school supply department ... have been looking for ideas to transport quilting supplies to classes and guild sew-ins. Have fallen in love with KT fabrics ... anxiously await each new line! Thank you for the sale!
Great idea. Creative and cute back to school containers are just what I need for transporting all those tiny supplies
Back to school. Fond memories and really fun shopping for the sewing room. Thinking a white board is in order to jot down future project ideas before I forget them!
Love to shop at an office supplies store. One of my favorite things is the pocket holders, they are perfect to hold the many mystery quilt blogs you do. I especially love the Sunflower Song fabric. Thanks for a chance to win.
I love school shopping in the fall!! Love the colors, pens, notebooks, and everything else! The fabric is beautiful!! Thanks for the opportunity!
My daughter and I were out looking/shopping for her baby a couple of weeks ago and we both admitted to still wanting to shop for school supplies. Looking at them was (almost) as fun as looking for baby! BTY, has anyone else noticed how beautiful the sun flowers are this year? Illinois has had plenty of rain this summer and the flowers are huge. So many varieties and all gorgeous.
A quilting cruise is definitely on my bucket list ... and yours sounds like a blast. I'm loving Sunflower Song and your colors are right in line with my favorites!!!
I just retired from teaching high school geometry but I'm still buying cute school supplies. Cute containers to aid in the never ending quest to get organized! So much fun...
Sew many adventures you have. A quilty cruise would be great to learn and meet other quilters.Luv you fabrics thanks again for chance to become winner.
Yes, I can relate to the love of office supplies! One of my favorite things about living in Japan is their really cool office supplies (pens, paper, stationary and such).
My youngest son is a high school senior this year, so my school supply days are almost over. Lots of "last time for (fill in the blank)" for us this year!
An office supply store is a very dangerous place! LOL!! Jeannine aka j9knits
OH MY! I would SO LOVE to go on a cruse with my two BESTIEST Quilt Guru's! Love your newsletter and you are SO GENEROUS in your offerings too!Yes, I too shop the school isles for nifty stuff to organize or just spruce up my quilt room or office!Great minds think alike! ;)
Always checking out office supplies---can never have enough of them.
Visiting Missouri Star is on my bucket list and the cruise sounds pretty awesome. I'm surprised the grands are already back to school--it will be a couple weeks before school starts in MN. I've been finding lots of Minion's back to school items--not for the kids though--lol!
What a blessing for you to have G'kid time!Beautiful Sunflower Song Fabrics! Love them! Thanks again for inspiring us!
I used to love the back to school sales, too, and would buy tons of stuff for my classroom. It was much cheaper than ordering stuff through the school supply catalogs.
Love your fabrics. You and Jenny seem to have 'sew' much fun together. I love reading and watching both of you. Thanks for the chance to win your great gift. JenelleJB (at) AOL (Dot) com
Couldn't agree with you more on school supplies! There's something about seeing the array of colors on the store shelves. Just like a fabric store, it gets your creative juices flowing. Let Fall begin!
What a great time to put those Sunflower Song fabrics on sale!! I just got out my UFO of the Sunflower wall hanging to see what fabrics I needed to finish it. I really only needed the pumpkin fabrics, but can't resist adding more of several others to my stash! Thanks so much.
I go the office supply store mostly to have my quilting books (Layers of Love and Loose Change, etc.) spiraled bound - but while waiting I can usually find a thing or two that I NEED. :) AND am going with my 3 sisters and mom on the January 2017 cruise. Can't wait!!!
Woohoo! So excited you're joining us. See you in January.
I also love to shop for school supplies...so many cute and nifty things that are not just for kids! Lol! My boys are all grown up and out of college and I still get excited about back to school shopping!
I always liked shopping for back to school supplies and I think the memory of it partially inspired my daughter to become a teacher. Hope you have a great time hanging out with Jenny!
I love to have cool accessories around me too! Thanks! Please click on the delaineelliott above for my email link.
Since I just purchased Sunflower Song layer cake (love it), I NEED the fat quarters. Thanks for the opportunity.
Love this line of fabric!
I have a lot of fabric from many of your lines, but I don't yet have Sunflower Song. I need some of this beautiful stuff!
Back to school - can't wait means we can go off in our camper for our holidays!! Thanks for the chance.
I've always loved back-to-school time! I need some new pens and some folders, and maybe a composition book, and . . . . . . . . Thanks for a chance to win some of this beautiful fabric.
I have many of your beautiful fabrics but I can always use more! I love the barn quilt and the colors of the Sunflower quilt is pretty awesome.
As a retired school teacher back to school means something different to me now. I am working hard to finish up some ufos so I can begin some new projects--one that is using KT fabrics!
I also love shopping the school supplies even though my kids are all grown. Your pumpkin color of the Sunflower collection is so beautiful! I need to get some for fall.
Even though I don't have kids in school any more, I generally stock up on school supplies for my grandkids to use when they visit. I hadn't even thought about it this year so your post sparked me into shopping yesterday. And yes, it was a lot of fun. And I did find some things for my sewing room. Thanks, I enjoy your posts so much.
I always lay out fabrics in grid like that too! I love seeing what print and colour combinations there are and which ones I was had been made.jen dot barnard at btinternet dot com
I love all the office supllies you can buy when school starts they are so much cuter then the rest of the time:-)
I cannot think of a better way to combine 2 of my favorite things, cruises and quilting!!! I will be watching for 2018 cruise info. Not sure how the hubby would occupy his sea days but he's pretty good at napping! LOL
Love your fabrics and would love to win this selection!
I love school shopping with my grandchildren, it's a good time to replenish my supply of crayons and such also. Planning for a cruise sounds great, hopefully I will be able to do one of those.
MSQC sounds like a fun trip...can't wait to hear about it! I also got a new fun tool this week...a rose gold colored laptop and headphones! That should spark the creative juices!!!!
