Cruisin' Sampler

I wish all of you could join us on our cruise this week. We're sure to have a fabulous time with Jenny Doan of Missouri Star and over 100 quilters. Baby Lock is providing the sewing machines for us, so the stitching is a breeze. Today is the first day of classes. Half of the quilters will start the week with Jenny to learn her clever way of slicing/piecing precuts. The other half will hang out with me to play with my layered patchwork technique in a sampler of some of my favorite blocks.

Cruisin' Sampler
 A Layer Cake and Honeycomb add scrappiness to just 5 other fabrics in this simply pieced lap quilt. I can't wait to share my design with the cruisers!     I love that Cruisin' Sampler. I have great memories of the Alaskan quilt cruise I went on a few years back with you and Pam. Those quilters will have a blast! Enjoy!
