Comment to win my new Pumpkin Harvest charm pattern (or join me for the class at Hi-Fashion Quilt Shop). Do you like to take workshops to learn new techniques? Do you travel away from home for retreats/quilt shows?

  1. I have never been to a quilting class or retreat....oh, but I sure would love to!

  2. Friends and I like to go on day trips to attend semi-local quilt shows, and to also discover new shops each summer on the Row by Row shop hop. We teach each other new techniques in our guild meetings. Safe travels to you this summer!

  3. I Won!!! Thank you so very much. I had such trouble picking out one color - how generous of you and you will see them again because they will be going into the Moda Blockheads - and thank you for designing those and being part of that journey!

  4. I haven't been to a retreat for awhile but they are a lot of fun to attend. What a fun quilt to make. Autumn is my favorite time of the year and pumpkins are high on my list, so this is a win win pattern. Thanks for a chance to win. Carmen

  5. love the pattern - wish the retreats were a little closer to WI. Thankyou for a chance to win a cute fall pattern. Love Fall.

  6. No and no, I guess I'm a homebody! Love Pumpkin Harvest!

  7. I'd love to be able to travel for a workshop to learn a new technique. I will be traveling in September for a retreat with some online friends! I can't wait!

  8. I have actually traveled from St. Louis to Denver to hook up with my sister and then we traveled to Hi Fashion to take a wool applique class with a fun-loving pair of Australians (The Quilted Crows). I need to compare my schedule with yours above and see if there's a way to get a match!

  9. I love to take classes to learn new techniques! I have only been to small local quilt shows, never to one of the big ones. Would love to go, but am not able to.

  10. I do travel to retreats. I love them. Yours is my favorite! I also like to take classes to learn new techniques whenever I can. I would love to win!

  11. Haven't taken classes lately, as I have many projects to finish. I do travel to retreats (driving distance) twice a year. LOVE the Pumpkin Harvest charm pattern!

  12. I love to learn, especially from you. I own many of your patterns 😃
Family, at this time, doesn't give me time to travel. Though on my bucket list.

  13. Wow--you have a busy schedule coming up! I do enjoy taking classes and workshops to learn new techniques! Earlier this week I drove 4 hours to attend a Bonnie Hunter class--so glad I did since she has developed an easier way to construct the quilt we worked on, from the way it was written in her book--well worth the drive!

  15. Love to take workshops, helps me to stay on track for completing projects. Travel to retreats 1-2 times per year.

  16. I've never had the fun chance to go to a retreat and every time I travel to quilt shops it's always while I'm om a road trip or vacation. I have taken a class online. Love the Pumpkin Harvest pattern. Have fun with your daughter in New York.

  17. I've never taken a workshop nor have I traveled much. My bucket list has Paducah on it, and maybe a quilt cruise. Do you ever make it to Massachusetts or Rhode Island?

  18. I have taken a few classes at my LQS but have never been away to a retreat. Sounds like fun though. Love the pumpkins, thanks for a chance to win!

  19. Going on my first quilting retreat in Oct. to Missouri Star. I am sure it will be a memorable time.

  20. I have not been to a retreat like many others! Hopefully one is in my future! tks!!

  21. I travel short distances to just get away, take classes and learn new techniques. I have taken your class in Pigeon Forge and I have traveled to AQS in Knoxville, Chattanooga and Charlotte. I may think about Fall Paducah next year. Health concerns are a problem for me for this year though. I would love to win the Pumpkin Harvest charm pattern!

  22. Love to go to retreats to learn new techniques from great new teachers. Everyone has something different to see and learn. I go to several retreats but taking the classes is harder because I am generally acting as my DIL's assistant in the classes she is teaching. But I do like to stick my head into the other classrooms and see what is going on. Thanks. I wonder if I could squeeze a trip to Draper next month.

  23. Usually monthly workshops, but occasionally retreats!

  24. I love retreats, and I'm actually traveling to Cape Cod in September for a retreat/workshop. Can't wait! I always love seeing what other people are making, and i can always pick up some helpful hints along the way.

  25. I've never been to a retreat. I will be traveling for a class at the AQS Quilt Show in Des Moines this year.

  26. I love retreats and classes. I am traveling this week to Primitives of the Midwest. I am a part of a group of ten ladies, "Sisters by a thread". We get together 3 times a year for a weekend retreat. Our guild also offers retreats and classes. I never pass up an opportunity to learn and connect with other quilters.

  27. It is soon going to be pumpkin season in Iowa. Thank you for the chance to win and safe travels, it looks like you are going to be very busy!

  28. I saw this and had an immediate desire to bake pumpkin bread.. how does that work! LOL! I LOVE pumpkins and look for all of the new pumpkin patterns and I LOVE this one!! It's adorable! I love to learn techniques and Moda Blockheads has helped me learn a ton of new things! When Buggy Barn was still in business I would go to their big Quilt Show every summer because it was only about an hour away from me. I see all of the pictures online of fun projects quilters are making at different retreats etc. and I always think that would be fun to do sometime!

  29. Oh my gosh, I Love this! You always come up with the neatest designs. Thank you for offering this and I would love to make it to go along with my other fabric projects of yours. Thank you again.

  30. Wish you were closer to our area. Love that new pattern. Would be perfect for my table this fall. Is it available for sale. Didn't see it in the sidebar.

  31. No, I never have been to a retreat. I think it would be a lot of fun. I love your new pattern and also your fabric. Have a great trip!

  32. Love the pattern, just finished a workshop with Lynne
was absolutely wonderful am so excited about the new skill of layered patchwork. Have been to several retreats the most fun and more quilting done than you
    can imagine.
