  2. Friends and I like to go on day trips to attend semi-local quilt shows, and to also discover new shops each summer on the Row by Row shop hop. We teach each other new techniques in our guild meetings. Safe travels to you this summer!

  3. I Won!!! Thank you so very much. I had such trouble picking out one color - how generous of you and you will see them again because they will be going into the Moda Blockheads - and thank you for designing those and being part of that journey!

  8. I have actually traveled from St. Louis to Denver to hook up with my sister and then we traveled to Hi Fashion to take a wool applique class with a fun-loving pair of Australians (The Quilted Crows). I need to compare my schedule with yours above and see if there's a way to get a match!

  13. Wow--you have a busy schedule coming up! I do enjoy taking classes and workshops to learn new techniques! Earlier this week I drove 4 hours to attend a Bonnie Hunter class--so glad I did since she has developed an easier way to construct the quilt we worked on, from the way it was written in her book--well worth the drive!

  21. I travel short distances to just get away, take classes and learn new techniques. I have taken your class in Pigeon Forge and I have traveled to AQS in Knoxville, Chattanooga and Charlotte. I may think about Fall Paducah next year. Health concerns are a problem for me for this year though. I would love to win the Pumpkin Harvest charm pattern!

  22. Love to go to retreats to learn new techniques from great new teachers. Everyone has something different to see and learn. I go to several retreats but taking the classes is harder because I am generally acting as my DIL's assistant in the classes she is teaching. But I do like to stick my head into the other classrooms and see what is going on. Thanks. I wonder if I could squeeze a trip to Draper next month.

  26. I love retreats and classes. I am traveling this week to Primitives of the Midwest. I am a part of a group of ten ladies, "Sisters by a thread". We get together 3 times a year for a weekend retreat. Our guild also offers retreats and classes. I never pass up an opportunity to learn and connect with other quilters.

  28. I saw this and had an immediate desire to bake pumpkin bread.. how does that work! LOL! I LOVE pumpkins and look for all of the new pumpkin patterns and I LOVE this one!! It's adorable! I love to learn techniques and Moda Blockheads has helped me learn a ton of new things! When Buggy Barn was still in business I would go to their big Quilt Show every summer because it was only about an hour away from me. I see all of the pictures online of fun projects quilters are making at different retreats etc. and I always think that would be fun to do sometime!
