Moda Fabrics invented the precut - charm packs, Layer Cakes, Jelly Rolls, Honey Buns, Candies (mini charms) and more. Sense a theme here? What do quilters love almost as much as fabric? Sweets! And these precuts make quilting even sweeter. I love starting with precuts for quilting projects, especially when I need a quick and easy quilt for a grandkid or gift. Check out our Fiddlesticks pattern on our KTQ website for a super easy way to showcase a Jelly Roll.

The hardest part is picking the fabric to use!! I have at least 2 jelly rolls each of your designs. Just waiting for the perfect pattern to use.
ReplyDeleteHere is my sweet surprise of the week: I was intending to make a cake to take to our vet as a thank you. By mistake, I used regular flour instead of self-rising. The cake came out flat and I thought it was a failure. But--and here is the sweet surprise--while it was a lousy cake, it turned out that I made a delicious dessert that tasted exactly like my favorite candy: marzipan! How's that for a sweet surprise?
ReplyDeleteAs always, you have the most beautiful patterns and fabric. I'd love to work with a KT jelly roll for Jelly Roll Day!
ReplyDeleteI love your beautiful, warm fabrics----perfect for fall, my favorite season. Sewing with a KT jelly roll on Jelly Roll day would be a great intro to fall!!
ReplyDeleteYour fabrics are all so beautiful. The wedge template looks interesting and creates a very unique design. Thank you for the opportunity to win.
ReplyDeleteI love the convenience of the precuts. They really cut down on the cutting of fabric and allows more time for piecing, especially for us working girls. My favorite quilt is made of random strips from several jelly rolls from your fabric collections. All of your fabrics coordinate so well together and I love working with them.
ReplyDeleteJelly Roll Day. Think I'll celebrate with a jelly donut. I do like that those strips have already been cut & you have beautiful patterns to use them. If I don't win your wedge templates I'll have to order them for the Twisted pattern. I think everyone needs a jelly donut today. Or a PBJ.
ReplyDeleteI recommend the Fiddlesticks pattern with KT fabrics to every one for an easy and beautiful quick quilt. What fun to win a KT jelly roll for Jelly Roll day!
ReplyDeleteI love KT fabrics! The colors and designs are beautiful. They remind me of the time I lived in Kansas. Precuts are so convenient. A KT jelly roll would be perfect for my Jelly Roll Day project. Thank you for the chance to win some of your lovely fabric.

ReplyDeleteI'm a big KT fan. I have a huge bin filled with your fabrics and no matter how much I sew from it, the lid will not close. Grin.
ReplyDeleteI would love to make that Be Brave quilt, but I cannot find it on your site. Am I missing it?
I'll get Robert right on it. We've been on the road so much, he evidently hasn't had a chance to load it on the website. Check back later this week.

Your fabrics are always my favorites!! Love all the jelly roll patterns! Thanks for the opportunity!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fan of the warmth of your color palette - especially this time of year! Love working with precuts, but I think the jelly rolls are the hardest to open! The way they are packaged you get to see a sliver of all the goodness inside - with the squares you only see the top fabric. Thanks for the chance!

ReplyDeleteI can't wait for jelly roll day. I've been going through patterns and my jelly roll stash and have finally made a decision on what I'm going to work on Saturday. And I have more projects waiting in the queue.
ReplyDeleteI find that I get alot of use from a jelly roll and that they really are more versatile than just using them to sew strips together. They are great for bindings. I love what you did with Bees n Blooms by adding the applique. Every design is lovely.

DeleteIt's located under Quilt Kits, and then Lap Quilts. You then choose the option for just the booklet (pattern).
