Is it January 2nd yet?

Sorry for the delay. We've had grandkids off and on all week and I lost track of what day it was! Woolensails is the winner of the December giveaway - a Changing Seasons pattern - congrats! Please send your mailing address and we'll send it right out. Our January giveaway will be annouced later this week.

I made a resolution this year to ignore resolutions, unless they're things like eating more chocolate (dark chocolate for my health, of course), shopping more for antiques and fabric to help stimulate the economy, and taking more time to relax and quilt with friends. I'm actually doing all three of those things in March when I go with a couple of friends on a quilting retreat. I've also been asked (and jumped at the chance) to teach on a quilting cruise to the Bahamas next January with Stitchin' Heaven quilt shop out of Quitman, TX. It promises to be a great time with Edyta Sitar of Laundry Basket Quilts and Sandy Klop of American Jane also teaching. We seldom have a chance to really visit at market so this will be a great opportunity to work and play together for a week with a fun bunch of quilters. For more information, call Deb Lutrell at 903-312-6833.

Stay warm, buy fabric, make quilts.

  3. I think of you guys in your cabin everytime I look at the weathermap and see a pile of snow hovering over Bennington. Fun to see what it looks like out there. It's cold here too.
