Lois and I traveled to Leoti, KS last Friday to share quilts and teach a workshop on raw edge applique. Even with a winning basketball team playing on Friday night, more than 60 women joined us for a fun evening hosted by Prairie Flower Quilts. Twenty-two quilters each stitched a mini table treats quilt in a 4-hour class on Saturday - and we even took time out for a delicious lunch of homemade potato soup and chicken salad sandwiches. I never worry about going hungry when I'm with quilters! We stayed at a homey B&B owned by one of the shop owners - thanks so much Deb!
Thanks for all your input on the Wrapped in Paisley charm quilt borders. Watch next week for my final pick.
We're off to Abilene, KS for their guild meeting on Tuesday night. Hope the weather cooperates. Later, Lynne
Have a safe trip! Can't wait till you visit our guild in March!

ReplyDeleteNormally I love living in Washington state but I can't help but think how fun it would be to live closer and be able to participate in your workshops! At least we can share through your blog...and there is the cold and snow factor (LOL), thanks for sharing Lynne!
ReplyDeleteThat is what I love about working at home, I can wear sweats and slippers and no one cares;)
