One of the comments here requested more info about the picture of the workshop ladies with their Mini Table Treats projects. On our website - ktquilts@twinvalley.net - we have 6 patterns for $4 each for these 17" table toppers that are fun and easy to make. Just layer a fat quarter backing, batting and a 17" circle background with another smaller circle; crosshatch quilt the whole thing. That's the foundation for your chosen applique whether it's Christmas lights, flowers, acorns, etc. The ladies are usually done in about 3 hours, stitching on binding. It's a fun way to try raw edge applique with little investment of time or money but many quilters find they want to make more for fast and simple gifts. We have several new projects coming out for market in the spring. I'll keep you updated.
The February Giveaway is one of each of the 6 Mini Table Treats patterns. If you're interested, please reply!

PS - For your paisley charm quilt, I would use both the red and blue for borders - Those colors really accentuate the sashing around the charms :)
