KT Winner
Congrats to Lyn from TX (comment #3). You're the winner of this week's Tokens of Friendship booklet & fat 1/8's even though you're missing a couple letters in your name ;).The Heat is On! Cool off with Holly Wishes
Oh my goodness! In one day, I drove from rainy, drizzly 40-50 degree days in Wisconsin to 90+ at home in Kansas. What happened to spring and warm sunny days in the 70's and cool, breezy nights with the windows open? So far, we're refusing to turn on the A/C. It still cools off at night enough to be very comfortable and the cabin stays pretty cool during the day if I remember to close the doors & windows. I've been parked in front of the computer all day working on the new Christmas patterns for Holly Wishes. Precuts arrived while I was gone so it's time to print the patterns.Make your wish list now for the Holly Wishes precuts you'll need to make your favorite quilt.
Holly Wishes Collection LOVE the holly print! I'm ordering tons of the diagonal printed plaid and dots to use in all my Christmas projects this year. |
Holly Wishes 68" x 76" A Layer Cake and borders is all you need to create a cheerful holiday lap quilt . I'll show you the easy layered patchwork method of making flying geese next time. |
Wish Upon A Little Star 40" sq. wall quilt A Honey Bun plus 2 fabrics yields an adorable quilt to coordinate for your wall. Both sizes are in the same pattern. |
Layer cakes tend to be a favorite. Holly wishes is darling!
ReplyDeleteOh LOVE wish upon a star! I Love ALL Kansas Troubles fabrics!
ReplyDeleteWe are ever so slowly heading to winter here in the nth island of New Zealand.
Hi Leeanne, my sister-in-law and her hubby live in NZ, and it's quite interesting talking to her on Skype during this time of the year. She's all bundled up, and I'm sweating in summer gear! ;)
DeleteOh Lynne! I hear you about the weather! It's warming up rather too fast. I have to say that Wish Upon a Star and the jelly roll are at THE TOP of my list! :) I've got some warm and inviting KT fabric waiting patiently in my stash that would mix well with Holly Wishes (which, BTW, I adore). Blessings!
ReplyDeleteI love Wish Upon a Star. Very pretty. Love the Holly Wishes collection too. The fabrics are warm and comforting.
ReplyDeleteOh my if I made something with that wonderful fabric it would HAVE to stay out all year round!! Love that Holly Wishes quilt!! Christmas would not only be in my heart ALL Year round, it would also be on my couch!! :o)

I really like the Wish Upon a Star quilt. I love the red fabric in the Holly Wishes collection. So far two record breaking heat days here in Wichita this week. I am not ready for summer.
ReplyDeleteI love Holly Wishes, the colors just draw me in! Love those colors and fabrics.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful Christmas collection! Would make such a cozy quilt. Wish upon a Little Star is my favorite of the new designs! : )
ReplyDeleteI think the jelly roll would be fun. I also like the Wish upon a star. Really cute fabrics for Christmas but also you could mix in with other things too. Thanks- K-
ReplyDeleteI really like the "Holly Wishes" quilt and am currently in love with fat eight bundles as I love scrappy quilts. Love the holly fabric in this line and the dotti one.
ReplyDeleteI love Holly Wishes and I love using layer cake so this pattern/precut combo is a win/win for me! I love that diagonal plaid too! Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteHolly wishes! Thanks for a chance to win. Love your fabrics!
ReplyDeleteI always love your holiday fabrics and your Holly Wishes is another winner in my book! ! It is a tough decisions to pick which quilt is my favorite, but since I can only one, it has to be Wish Upon a Star. Sometimes Layer Cakes are just not enough fabric and I end up needing extra so I am starting to get Fat Eight bundles or a Fat Quarter one.
ReplyDeleteI love the Holly Wishes quilt! Being able to do it with a layer cake is a plus. Can't wait to try it out!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the Wish Upon a Star! Jelly Rolls and Layer Cakes are tied for my favorites. Thanks for the opportunity!
ReplyDeleteMy heat is running as I read this blog.... but hopefully we have warmer weather moving in tomorrow here in No. Ohio.
ReplyDeleteI am a huge fan of Christmas fabrics and I think you have hit a major home run with these. Also being a fan of stars I would have to go with the Wish Upon A Star.
I usually purchase charm packs and jelly rolls I have not tried any of the other precuts..
Thanks for a chance.
Wish Upon A Star calls to me. I like all the options layer cakes provide.
ReplyDeleteI always love what you create, whether it is a pattern or fabric! A Jelly roll and Wish upon a Star has my name all over it, LOL
ReplyDeleteI love Wish Upon A Star! I've bought all the precut sizes from charms to fat quarter bundles. I've probably used more jelly rolls than any of the other sizes.
ReplyDeleteI love those fat-quarter bundles!
ReplyDeleteLove the Wish Upon a Star with the holly, What a great idea. I love jelly rolls but I use all the precuts for their ease and accurate cutting. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI love Wish upon a star the most , really they are all beautiful. I am obsessed with your fabric! thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteBoth great patterns but I would pick Wish upon a Star love the blocks and holly. I've never tried using a layer cake.
ReplyDeleteThese are too close to call a favorite. I would probably make the Holly Wishes first. Love the fabric set.
ReplyDeleteWish upon a little star is my pick. I think that you could turn it into a tree skirt if you wanted to.
ReplyDeleteI love Holly Wishes - layer cakes are my favourite, they're so versatile!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this fabric!!! I think Wish Upon A Little Star would be my first pick.
ReplyDeleteGreat fabric and love the Wish Upon A Little Star would be my favorite. Thanks for sharing with us.
ReplyDeleteI think the Wish Upon A Little Star would make a cute table mat for my dining room table at Christmastime.
ReplyDeleteI really like both, but if I could only do one, I would probably choose Holly Wishes. Taking a bundle to ND with me this summer for a new KT quilt. Can't wait until school's out!!!!
ReplyDeleteIf you make me choose, it will be Wish upon a Star. I love stars. I like to use layer cakes. But, have to say, I like the convenience of all of the precuts.
ReplyDeleteI fell in love with Wish Upon a Little Star. It would be perfect on my kitchen table during the holidays!
ReplyDeleteLayer cakes for me and I love the Wish Upon a Star pattern.
ReplyDeleteI love jelly rolls the most followed by layer cakes.. The thing about pre cuts for me is the variety of fabric in color, print and how they coordinate. Sometimes not having to make those decisions are a freeing feeling!!! I would love to make a log cabin type quilt like the Wish upon a star quilt..
ReplyDeleteHolly Wishes is so gorgeous...on the top of my wish list! As a new quilter I like all the precuts because they are so easy to use. I can't believe that the Holly Wishes quilt uses just one layer cake.....I need to get some layer cakes. I really love the Wish Upon a Star quilt!
ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of your Log Cabin Star quilt. I mostly use jelly rolls.
ReplyDeleteI especially like the Wish Upon A star lap quilt. My favorite precut is the jelly roll.
ReplyDeleteI love stars blocks so I chose Wish Upon A Star and my favorite precut is fat quarter or charm pack!
ReplyDeleteI love the Wish Upon the Star Quilt. My favorite precut is the Jelly Roll. Thank you for an opportunity to win.
ReplyDeleteThe Wish Upon the Star Quilt is awesome! When you showed it at Nancy's, I decided immediately that it needed to be on the "to do" list. I usually purchase fat quarters - more to play with.
ReplyDeleteWish upon a Star is my fave!
ReplyDeleteLove anything with stars, so the Wish Upon a Star is my favorite. I would love to make the smaller one since it looks like it would be "doable" for me! :)

ReplyDeleteReally like Holly Wishes. Am hooked on charm packs and layer cakes. Wish they had been available when I started quilting. My sewing space would be tidy.
ReplyDeleteI'm into Layer Cakes right now, have been having fun making the Loose Change quilts.
ReplyDeleteIs there a store in Canada that sells your patterns?
ReplyDeleteHolly Wishes quilt is lovely! I like charm packs best!
ReplyDeleteI like the Holly Wishes quilt and having been buying the layer cakes recently. Although I also have a lot of charm packs, too ;)
