Kansas RowXRow ExperienceAre you following the trail this summer? KT Quilt Shop is one of hundreds of shops across the country that are offering patterns/kits for a row that can be put together for wonderfully creative quilts. The theme for Kansas shops is water, so our row features windmills. Our windmills are a variation on a layered patchwork block I've used before and loved how it twinkles and twirls. By making 2 blocks going opposite directions, it adds even more movement to the row. Stop by Kansas Troubles Quilt Shop in Bennington, Kansas when you're out and about to check out our row and see all of the KT fabrics, books & patterns and quilts on display.
Open T-F 10-5; Sat 10-3. Closed July 4th. Call 785-488-2120 during business hours to make arrangements for someone to be there after hours if you're traveling our way.

Christmas All Year Through SaleThe arrival of Heartfelt, KT's new Christmas collection, has me rethinking some of my previous projects for the holidays. Some I still have from years past, others have been gifted to family. Now I wish I'd kept them all! So, I hope to start this summer to remake some of my favorites.
To help you along with your Christmas stitching, we're offering some of our favorite Christmas patterns for just $3.50 each (retail $7.95). Our new Heart of the Home booklet is only $5.00 (retail $10.95). That's a savings of over 50%! To sweeten the deal, when you place your order for any of these Christmas patterns, Jamie will throw in Just For You, a cute Christmas bag for gift giving or keeping. Sale good at ktquilts.com until July 1st.
Three Layer Cake squares are the ornaments and trim for this joyfully easy wall quilt.
Christmas RibbonTwinkly stars are surrounded by a ribbon border all ready to wrap up your Christmas.
Dreamin' of Christmas
Make a pillow sleeve for the holidays, then change for the New Year with one of our
newest pillow sleeves from Crazy for Pillows.
KT's layered patchwork makes a square-in-a-square-in-a-square-in-a-square,etc. so easy!
Wish Upon a Star
Simple rail fence blocks in Honey Bun (below) and Jelly Roll sizes embrace a star fit for the holidays. Add holly applique - or not - to suit your mood. Wouldn't this be great in red/tan/blue right now? Darn! There's another project on my list.
Heart of the Home
Our new Heartfelt collection was so much fun to play with for holiday quilts and home dec projects that last through the New Year. Start with a HeartfeltLayer Cake for our easy layered patchwork flying geese. Just stitch a triangle on a background rectangle for no-fail-never-cut-off-your-points-again flying geese and star points. So fast for holiday quilts!
Just For You
I love this bag for it's usefullness + cuteness! It's the perfect gift wrap - or adult stocking - for everyone on your Christmas list. And the best part? It's free with the purchase of any other KT Christmas sale pattern/booklet from above.
I'm on the road again to teach and share my quilts this week at the Pride of the Prairie Quilt Guild in Naperville, IL Thursday & Friday, then on to Oshkosh, WI to hang out with the Lakeside Quilters next week. Come join us for the evening or for the day!
