  1. I LOVE Fat Qrts and I LOVE Kansas Troubles! I store them together in collections by designer so I keep them together. I also sometimes take a pattern and all of the fabric for it and I bundle it together and store in a tubby until I can get to it. That way when I make the pattern I have all I need! I am picky about fabrics matching! One of my favorite KT collections was Heartfelt!!

  2. I don't have too many fat quarter collections, but the ones I do have I keep separate from my regular fabric stash; my fabric is stacked by color on shelving units, and the fat quarters are on top of the shelf.

  3. Storing far quarters is not an issue as I rarely have many. There is one quilt shop within 100 miles of me so I tend to purchase online going with yardage.

  4. I only have a few fat quarter bundles and they are left, as is, with the ribbon still tied. They look so cute that I can't bear to take them apart...at least not until I decide what to do with them. The single ones are pre-washed and stored by color with my other yardage.

  5. I'm a primitive quilter and love all the darker prairie prints. My stash is in cupboards according to color, but FQ's stay bundled on the counter top always in view and ready to join a project.

  6. I only have a few FQs bundled still and on the dresser in my sewing room! Lovely decorations for sure!

  7. I keep mine folded by color on some old metal racks that they fit on. I don't remember where I got the racks, but all fabs 1/4 yd or less go here in color families. LOVE your fabs!

  12. I usually buy fat quarters for a specific project so all components, fabric & pattern stay together in little paper shopping bags. Every store displays their fqs in different ways. They’re folded in triangles, quarters, thirds & rolled. If I buy cause color or pattern grabs my attention then I have a square plastic box to store them. Holiday fqs have their own smaller box. Will need to look at your cream bundles.

  14. Like so many others, my fat quarters are by color in a plastic shoe box. Any fat quarters or smaller scraps are saved. Some cut their scraps up into a system of sizes, but I just save mine as they are.

  19. I have a set of closet organizer drawers in my sewing room. My husband put mounted my cutting table on top of the drawers which ended up being the perfect height for me (I am tall). I love that I have all my fat quarters right there for me to look through. Thanks for the giveaway.

  22. I don't have a whole lot of fat quarters, but when I visit a quilt shop and I'm not really "buying" that day, I try to buy 4 FQs to support the store. I just buy what I love so I have the most KT FQs! When I get home, I fold them all the same...quartered both width and length wise and then they get stored according to colour. They are all stacked in a glass curio cabinet and I can always see what I have. But the bad thing for me and FQs is that once I buy them, I don't want to sew with them!!! I want to collect and keep them!!! Thanks so much for this chance.

  23. I buy fat quarters when I see one or a collection that I like. Sometimes I buy them to go with something I already have. I store my fat quarters in boxes that I have covered with upholstery fabric samples. My husband built shelves to cover one wall of my sewing room. Each box is covered with the same color fabric that is in each box.

  24. Most of my FQ are for specific projects so they are placed in a 12 X 12 clear plastic container along with the pattern, threads and any yardage all set to cut and sew. When I purchase a FQ bundle it usually sets out where I can enjoy looking at it while it decides what it wants to be ☺️

  29. I don’t have many fat quarters, actually just one bundle of them that is awaiting a quilt pattern. But yesterday, I saw at a store a beautiful display spread out on on a round table — all reproduction prints but the same color scheme as Kansas Troubles. Lovely!

There's probably a better way but until I reorganize, that's my system. Thanks for offering a chance to win a bundle of fat quarters.
