KT Winner
Congrats to Chiskag@gmail.com. You're the winner of last week's KT Seedlings pattern and Clara's Garden charm pack. We'll send out your goodies as soon as we receive precuts from Moda.12 Days of Christmas Giveaways
Thanks so much to all of you for visiting my blog faithfully throughout the year, posting your comments and support. I love reading each and every one of them. Some days, when the math isn't working out in a pattern and my seams don't cooperate, it's the one bright spot I can count on. My gift to you for the holidays is a marathon of giveaways over the next 12 days. Each day we'll feature 3 KT patterns (or a book) starting with winter, through spring, summer and fall themes and finishing up with our newest designs. Since it is the holiday season, a little elf at KT (Jamie) is planning to add a quilter's surprise to each packet of patterns. Who knows? It might be a scrap bag of Christmas, a charm pack for spring or a KT ruler or template.Without further ado, here's our giveaway for Day 1 - a trio of winter patterns including our SNOW runner, All Wrapped Up charm pattern and Holly Days Mini Table Treat. It's not too late to whip up one of these simple projects before Christmas for yourself or as a gift.
Comment today by 10pm on how many quilted gifts you're giving for Christmas this year. I'm sure the answers will blow my mind!
I am ashamed to say that not one gift this year is quilted, although there are some hand made ones.

ReplyDeleteI have to admit that lately I've been on a knitting kick. I'm finishing my 2nd pair of mittens, I've completed a cowl and a hat, and I've got to seam up a dog sweater. Quilted: I made a Christmas table mat for me!
ReplyDeleteSadly, no quilting. I'm eyeing the Infinity Scarf tutorial on Fat Quarter Shop for my sister-in-law, though.

ReplyDeleteThis year I made aprons (27 in all) for all my friends and relatives using up lots of my quilting fabrics. Almost all have been given away already, at annual parties and cookie baking events. My last gift to finish up will be a "Layered Patchwork-Barn Raising mini quilt" using the one shown on your blog as a wonderful inspiration (using Charm squares and mini charms).
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see a picture! How fun!
DeleteOnly 1. It is for my 2 year granddaughter. Thanks for a chance to win.
ReplyDeleteOnly 1 this year for my daughter in law.
ReplyDeleteJust one for me, but I'm planning birthday quilts throughout the year too!
ReplyDeleteI'm giving two table runners and two lap quilts. I work at gifts all year so I don't feel the stress.
ReplyDeletePaula
This year I've only made one quilt for Christmas but have made flannel pj's, beaded stilettos and needle nannies. I guess they all count as quilt related if you sew in your pj bottoms like I do.
ReplyDeleteI've made over a dozen stars with twigs wrapped in torn fabric strips for ornaments, but nothing quilted. I've also made fleece scarves and headbands for my 4 granddaughters. I have given 3 quilts earlier in the year for other occasions.
ReplyDeleteAt least a dozen, still making some small stuff.
ReplyDeleteI have planned on giving four quilty gifts this year. I also made my granddaughter's Christmas dress, which turned out nicely I think.
ReplyDeleteI will give 6 quilted projects and 15 crocheted gift items this Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy giving just as much as receiving.
Tina
I'm planning to have 15 quilted gifts finished...by the weekend, fingers crossed. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI made a table runner for my sister, a stocking for a new granddaughter and about 30 placemats for Meals on Wheels clients.
ReplyDeleteI have made 2 queen size quilts, one for a daughter and the other for a son. A baby quilt for our new grandson and a circular tablecloth for a daughter in law. I have also made 12 Christmas table runners for my stitching friends and a wall hanging for a special friend who has helped me out in what has been a difficult year.
ReplyDeleteSo far one-could be more if that gets finished.
ReplyDeleteThree quilted gifts this year. A ponies quilt for my beautiful three year old granddaughter and a cars quilt for my handsome three year old grandson. Also a table runner for our gift exchange at work. I love this joyous season. Thank you for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteHi Lynne, This year is pretty sparse in the homemade arena. I will be gifting one quilt and two pouches.
ReplyDeleteOnly 1 piano themed quilt for my son this Christmas. Last year I made 3 large quilts as gifts. Right now I'm backed up with a few baby quilts that need to be finished but, life keeps getting in the way. ;->
ReplyDeleteOops! No quilted gifts. Trying to finish my new baby granddaughter's quilt. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas HUGS... and stitches
Many gifts. A candle mat and mug rug for my sister and a wine bag for a gift exchange at work in addition to stockings and many clutch bags and cell phone wristlets that I've made for others to give as gifts. My sewing machine is my best friend this time of year!!

ReplyDelete20 table runners with 2 being quilted, 2 lap quilts given in November, 1 table runner for me-done, 2 pillows, and maybe 2 more quilts. Woosh! We will see! Thanks for opportunity for giveaway. And, my,mother wants me to make a purse for her to giveaway. I must be crazy!
ReplyDeleteI can't even count how many. Most all my gifts are quilted items.
ReplyDeleteProbably about 5, some tablerunners and a small wall hanging.
ReplyDeleteA baby quilt for a baby due any day. Placemats for DIL and son, pj's for granddaughter, mini quilt, decorated dish towels, pincushion.
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping to get 7 pillows and 5 make-up bags and hopefully some potholders. All small things, but I need to get started!
ReplyDeleteI am ashamed of myself. I am doing some quilts but have not gotten them done and to the quilter in time for them to be Christmas presents. Soooo. nothing in the way of quilted things to give for Christmas. I procrastinate every year! I do have good excuses, care giver for three family members and myself. It makes it a challenge to find time to sew. Gonna do better next year! :) midwayfarms@hughes.net
ReplyDeleteOnly 2 this year. One for each of my Granddaughters.
ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays!
Only 2 Å‚ap size quilts 2 table runners and two embroideries which will make into cushions. Am busy caring for my 97 year old father.
ReplyDeleteI've only done three this year, and only just managed to get them done and in the post, phew. I have managed to finish a wall hanging for me though, it's been on the go for three years so really pleased it's finished.
ReplyDeleteI made 2 quilted gifts this year - 2 flannel rag quilts. Thanks!
ReplyDeletePlease click on the delaineelliott above for my email link.
I had planned to give 3 quilted gifts this year....but with commitments that came up, and lack of time, right now, one is ready to go!
ReplyDeleteI did 19 but they are all small, Wall hangings or potholders, a few ornaments. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI've made 9 candle mats and still working a few more!
ReplyDeleteAlas, no quilted gifts this year, but I am giving some quilty ornaments (hexagons pieced together to form a wreath).
ReplyDeleteI love that Snow table runner ... that alone would be a fantastic win!
Everyone in our family (sons & daughters-n-law) is getting quilts this Christmas because for the 1st time ever, hubby is helping me to QUILT on the Gammill! So much more fun!
ReplyDeleteSadly none. When I finish one that I know is a gift I can't wait for Christmas to gift it. The recipient gets a middle of the year surprise!
ReplyDeleteLove the runner. I would make two, so I could keep one and give one. I have got a couple of quilted things, a runner and a large throw to give, but I can always make more!
ReplyDeleteGuess I'm the odd quilter out, but I'm not giving quilted gifts this year. I am, however, giving several knitted gifts. My go-to gift this year for the girls on my list is a cowl -- in fact, several variations of cowls. Love them -- so easy to pop on. My Christmas quilting was limited to a table runner which was sold at our church's bazaar -- for a bit more than it was worth, actually!
ReplyDeleteI have finished 4 table runners and 2 of your mini table toppers for gifts. I have 2 more to go. I would love to do the mini ivy topper! Thanks for helping me share the holiday cheer.
ReplyDeleteI am giving away 5 quilted runners and 6 table toppers for gifts this year.
ReplyDeleteI'm not giving any quilted gifts this year, but you did job my memory...I was going to make my niece a quilt and totally forgot about it! Yikes! Maybe next year!
ReplyDeleteI make a box full of scarves, fleece, knit all kinds, out of some of my left overs. When all gifts are opened and all is done, I dump the scarves in the middle of the room, and they all dive in. Its so fun to watch they swap and share. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteJust finished making a 5&10 quilt for my daughter in law using your beautiful fabrics! Merry Christmas to you and your family!🎄
ReplyDeleteI've only made two quilted gifts, but they are symbolic of something BIG! I made two microwave bowl cozies for my daughter who is moving into a house with friends. It will be the first time she has spent more that a week or two away from home. Even though it's only 2 miles away, it's a big step for her.
ReplyDeleteSo far 7 rope baskets, 6 hot pads, 5 trivets,4 coasters, 2 table runners, 1 lap quilt and 1 flower art quilt. Not finished yet. Still need a couple table runners and a few more baskets.
ReplyDeleteChristmas gifts this year included 5 crochet hats,4 quilted snowman pillows for my kids, 3 flannel pillow cases for grandkids, 2 quick hot pads, and 1 crochet dog sweater. Hope to still crochet a couple more hats and some mittens plus would like a new table runner for myself. Always so many ideas and never enough hours in a day this time of year. Merry Christmas! 🌲
ReplyDeleteThere is only one quilted gift this year....a Christmas Tree skirt for the wounded soldiers at Ft. Bliss, Tx. It was the most rewarding present I have ever made!
ReplyDeleteLet's see. a new quilter here so I only have 2 quilts, a quilted table cloth, and 3 quilted pillows for this year. Watch out next year here I come. Love your fabric and can't wait to get to Bennington to your store. PS I'm a Clay Center gal. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
ReplyDeleteI'm giving a cow shaped quilt for my newest grandson who I just met this week because he lives in New Zealand. I'm also making table runners for my co-workers.

ReplyDeleteOnly one quilt for my mother-in-law, but I have given away 3 quilts this year for birthdays!
ReplyDeleteI'm making 17 quilted mug rugs for Christmas gifts, as well as about 3 dozen angel ornaments with quilted wings. The quilting was done by machine but I am still hand sewing the binding!
ReplyDeleteI am hoping to make 6 little presents before Christmas Eve!
ReplyDeleteI only have to make 4 gifts this year. My brother decided not to exchange gifts this year, kind of a mixed blessing.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas All!!
Table runners are the quilted gifts for this year. And there are 10 of them. Luckily I took a monthly class on table runners, so that was a great help and motivation to get them all completed. And---they are.
ReplyDeleteI have made a special throw quilt that I have pieced and quilted for my daughter-in-law, a table runner and 3 fleece- tied quilts for grand babies!
ReplyDeleteIf I have time to finish all my quilted gifts by Christmas, I will have 12. Your patterns and fabrics are amazing! I would love to win your give away. Thank you and Merry Christmas.
