This week, I have a stack of leftover Turnovers from several years ago (it's practically vintage). If you have a project in mind using triangles, you're in luck! All the cutting is done for you.
I also found a bag of strips leftover from the ends of bindings, Jelly Rolls and Honey Buns.

ReplyDeleteI have been in love with your fabrics for years and have bought many from your website for quilt shops most of which are now adorning my house in one type of quilt or another. I also do a lot of charity quilts with a group of 8 other ladies for a local hospital and would love to be able to sew either the strips or turnovers into a treasure for someone not feeling their best and bring them a little ray of sunshine.

A scrap bag- my favorite activity! @ gifts in one or would it be 3 or infinite pleasure- the pleasure of opening and discovering, the feel of the fabric,sorting the colors, drowning in color, color therapy and then...which project? I have a few projects for triangles-but I am not proud-I am playing with strips too. just playing. Thanks for the possibilities-one of which was to wish and another to imagine

I save my KT scraps separate from any other scraps and plan to do a scrappy EPP quilt with KT scraps from the years! Is it odd to say that I have thoughts of rolling around in the pile of scraps loving the look and feel of them?! lol Thanks for designing all of that prettiness that we all love! :)

ReplyDeleteI have a half-completed quilt with Kansas Troubles turnovers in my to be completed basket. I love the colors - the deep greens, burgundies and blues are so soothing. Maybe I will be inspired to get it out and FINISH it!
