Hello Ladies!
The month is half over and I still have a Giveaway to announce. Who wants to win about 400 assorted Moda designer 2 1/2" half square triangles? Moda challenged us before fall market to use all the different Moda fabrics to create a project using Edyta's Friendship Triangle Papers. Love the papers; had a great time playing with everybody's fabrics. I still have a bunch left and thought I would share. Respond before the end of the month and I'll throw in our pattern using these triangles - Summer Wreath.

FINALLY got a camera that is easy and works well with my computer. That's been the hardest part of this whole blog thing, so thanks for bearing with me. Now that I can take pictures and my camera will talk to my computer I will be sharing more good stuff with you.

Later, Lynne

When I first started blogging that was a bit tricky for me also. All this new fangled techno stuff can be challenging to get used to, but once you get the hang of it it can be fun!

  21. A friend of mine sent me a lot of her leftover pieces like that and they were great for piecing together into larger crazy squares. After I made blocks, I cut out the templates from those and they made great crazy applique pieces.

  94. How beautiful! I love half square triangles, they are awesome! My mom is from Kansas, and my dad used to call her his "Kansas Trouble" years ago, so whenever I hear that, or see that fabric I always think of him! Dad passed away four months before they would have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary from pancreatic cancer. I think the blue border on the left looks the best, but I love that fabric anyway!! Have a blessed day!

    ReplyDelete
  95. Goodness, what fun to win a pile of 1/2 sq. triangles and the pattern! Please add my name to your drawing. I admired all the finished challenge projects that were posted on line-an
    awesome display of talent!
My choice for borders for your Wrapped In Paisley charm quilt would be a narrow red border (right side of photo) and a wider blue border (left side of photo). Just my opinion!
    Thanks,
Sandy in Northern Minnesota (where we need lots of quilts to stay warm!)
