I love baskets, especially those that look handmade with the look, color & patina of 100 years of use. We have baskets to hold mini charms, charms, fat quarters or little quilts rolled up. What will your basket hold?
I love wall baskets, they are wonderful to decorate with, perfect for peg racks and a nice way to store things on the walls in my sewing room. I found an antique one in a consignment, it is perfect to hold the wool and the braided rug I am working on.
I have an open-weave basket that I made years ago. I placed quilt patterns in this basket. Like all patterns I collect, they all believe they're the next to be bemade. :)
My basket holds precious pine cones that my boys have found over the years. :)
Lynne, I love those baskets! Your store is going to be SOOOO cute and country/old-fashioned! I'm going to have to convince hubby that I NEED to go all the way back up to Kansas again this year! ;)
Cute baskets
ReplyDeleteI love baskets, too! In fact, there are way too many in my garage, but I do use most of them regularly, just switch them out for a little change!

ReplyDeleteI "do" baskets too. My house has them displayed in each room. Some hold goodies, some are up high strictly for decor.
