I've been working on the new website every day until I'm bleary-eyed and my butt is numb. One of the new features on the site is our KT Stash Society project of the month. We have a list of participating quilt shops that do a great job of promoting the Stash Society with monthly gatherings, kits and specials. If you don't live neat a quilt shop that offers it, we don't want you to miss out, so we'll be offering the patterns on our website each month, too. For January, we have a table runner in crisp blues and tans to celebrate the SNOW without ever being cold. We updated and simplified a traditional block with a little raw edge applique for the star points. Each block is basically a 9-patch with triangles or squares stitched on top, so there's never any distortion or lost points. I loooove easy!
Win the January Stash Society "Snow" pattern and a few bits of KT fabric to get you started just by commenting here before Sunday night 10pm. See you Monday with a winner!

It snowed here for the first time since the end of October! Crazy winter we're having!

Wow, love the idea of appliquéing those points....and it actually snowed in the high country here on Wednesday and it's summer for us!!!! Very strange weather world wide it seems...

ReplyDeleteI'm SO thrilled that you are doing the KT Stash online! I don't live near a quilt shop that does it so now I'm not going to miss out! Thanks a bunch!
ReplyDeleteYour website sounds like it is going to be great! I used to belong to the Society via mail. It will be nice to see it online. Love the new design.
ReplyDeleteGreat pattern. Don't mind that 'Snow'. Thanks for a chance.
ReplyDeleteI'd love some snow here in GA! We sure don't get much!

This is my kind of snow! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteThis pattern is so appropriate for me today. Here in central Missouri it was in the mid 50s yesterday and today it is only in the 20s with a covering of snow. Thanks for a chance to win.
ReplyDeleteNow that is the kind of snow I can love, thanks for the giveaway!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful table runner. I love the fabrics and the pattern is so adorable. Happy quilting.
ReplyDeleteDefintiely my kind of snow and I love the material. Very windy and cold here where I live so great for sewing and quilting.
ReplyDeleteSandy S
love it also happy that I can get the stash patterns I dont have a local quilt store that does the Stash club
ReplyDeleteWay up north here in Minnesota, we had 55 two days ago! Now it's down to single digits. But we have no snow.....maybe an inch but the grass is all poking through. Weird winter!
ReplyDeleteLove that snow table runner. Perfect for a "normal" Minnesota winter!
Snow is in short supply in Utah this winter!
ReplyDeleteI love that kind of snow! And stars! :-) What a fun pattern!
ReplyDeleteLove the look of this runner! Western NY is going to get about 8-10 inches before Friday is over. Sure would rather have the snow on the runner!! Warming up my shovel.....
ReplyDeleteI love stars and wished we had a little snow here in Texas....grin.
ReplyDeleteI like the pattern and blue is my favorite color. Had a few snow flurries here in NE last night but ground is basically snow-free. Would love to have some snow with the cold weather we are having.
ReplyDeleteNow that's my kind of snow...no cold factor at all! Thanks for the chance to win the pattern.
ReplyDeleteWe could use some snow here in the West - its been dry as a bone for the last 45 days! Maybe a cute little snow runner is just the thing to get those snowflakes going?!!
ReplyDeleteThis would be my favorite kind of 'snow'! Love the fabrics and pattern!
ReplyDeleteAmazing SNOW! Fun with applique! We hardly ever have snow in South Alabama. Thanks for giving us the chance to get the KT patterns too!
ReplyDeleteSnow without snow...I love it! It really has been a mild winter so far. This time last year we were starting to wonder where to put all the snow when shoveling the driveway!
ReplyDeleteWe appreciate your hard work on the website! And that tablerunner is so old-fashioned and beautiful!!! Love the blue! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a good idea sewing the triangles on top! I'm gonna have to remember that one :)
ReplyDeleteOh, that table runner is sooo cute. Just got a little dusting of snow. But is it cold brrrrrrrr. Makes me wanna sew. Love the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteLovely table runner! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Lynne, that is beautiful
ReplyDeleteI just finished a stitchery wallhanging for my grandsons wife who is a teacher in CA. "Teachers sow seeds of knowledge that last forever"- I wanted to use a really pretty fabric for backing and binding, and decided on one of the FQ's I have of your Vine Creek range, and I am so pleased with it. :)
I'm so glad you are going to offer the stash society patterns. The shop I was using via mail has advised they won't have the club in 2012. I enjoyed receiving their friendship squares at the end of the year even though I had not personally met them. I love all the patterns and am always anxious to see what the project will be for the next month.
ReplyDeleteLove the pattern, and like the idea of applique to get the points right! No snow in France and so far this winter we haven't had any which, is fine by me. Thanks for the giveaway Linda.
ReplyDeleteWhat an attractive runner, just perfect for my table. I really love quilting because I can use all the colors I love that I can't wear. There is no snow here in Moses Lake but the forcast says it is coming. Thanks for the giveaway and this wonderful website, Wanda.
ReplyDeleteI would be delighted to win this. Thank you for the chance. KT's is my biggest vice. I wish I owned one of every design from the inception. :)
ReplyDeleteAnother great pattern! Love the recipes you include with the Stash Society newsletter.
ReplyDeleteLove the tablerunner. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteLove the fabric and the table runner!
ReplyDeleteLove the table runner and would like to try the technique. Wouldn't mind if we woke up one morning to snow here in FL for one day.
ReplyDeleteLove the tablerunner! We do not have much snow this year. Too much snow in October and our biggest since was maybe two inches. I miss my snowshoes!
ReplyDeleteLove it!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the tablerunner. We just got our first snowfall. I am actually a little bummed as I love snow, especially big snow storms when you get a snow day and have to stay home from work! I will have to check out the website as I don't have a quilt shop near to do the KT Stash, thanks for doing it on the website.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! Thanks for the chance to win and for offering this KT Stash.
ReplyDeleteMary
Very nice... thanks for sharing...
ReplyDeleteOnalee
Stow, Ohio... where it is snowing and very cold out!
Love the table runner!
ReplyDeleteWe could use a little snow in Utah!
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat runner. Snow, snow and more snow!!!! Here in Wisconsin we finally have a white blanket of snow after a week of very warm, up to 50 degree weather. Everyhting is crisp and beautiful outside. Enjoy your day.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Love it.
ReplyDeleteIt actually snowed in St. Louis yesterday and it's still on the ground today. But not for long the temperature is going to be back in the 40s tomorrow. Love the "Snow" table runner. Can't wait for the pattern.
ReplyDeleteLove it! We actually have very little snow this winter. Although I'm sure that will change in the next month or two.
ReplyDeleteConny from Red Deer, Alberta
What a great little pattern! I still have my "Let it Snow" wreath up, and this would go great with it.
ReplyDeleteLove the runner - so simple but so fitting.
ReplyDeleteI would enjoy receiving your pattern and fabric. Thanks for the giveaway! Lana D.
ReplyDeleteCool table runner! We have the snow.
ReplyDeleteSnow is so fitting for January. Winning a snow pattern would make things warmer inside (for me at least!). I am also thinking about making one of your quilts (spare change) for the winter! Keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteMaybe if I made the table runner we would actually have the snow we need! thank you!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's getting colder here in the UK but no snow yet!
ReplyDeleteDarling! We may have actual snow in Portland OR tomorrow night.
ReplyDeleteI love the runner! I don't live where it snows anymore, but do miss the snow days, where you just want to stay home and quilt.
ReplyDeletehl3smith@yahoo.com
I haven't made any runners because my table is always piled high with Hubby's stuff. He lays each piece of mail out so he can see it and it tends to stay there all week. LOL If I had your beautiful runner on it maybe he'd do better. :) Still waiting for our Kansas snow--had a few flurries couple of days ago but they melted quickly. I think I need the permanent kind. thanks for offering the give away.
ReplyDeleteLove the runner, we don't have any snow this year - just the cold. Be fun to sit inside by the fire and peice this fun runner.
ReplyDeleteKalynn
Oh, I am so glad you are offering Stash Society on your website!! I have friends who live near a shop that offer this club but it's too far for me. Now I can make the projects too! Doing my happy dance lol!
ReplyDeleteAnother great pattern.Sure wish I could send my snow to everyone that is missing it because I sure can do without it. Not as much as other years but it all still has to be shovelled and plowed here in Canada Sandy
ReplyDeleteWow, I' m not normally a fan of "the mud colors" , but the more I'm exposed to your fabric and ideas, the more I am leaning towards coloring outside my box. I for one, appreciate your efforts to keep us informed and exposed.
ReplyDeleteLove the runner it's really cute and appropriate for this time of year.
ReplyDeleteWe got some of that white stuff while we were sleeping. More due by late Sat. or early Sun. This runner is adorable and sounds easy. Would love to win the pattern and some of your wonderful fabric. Thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteNo snow here in California.
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect project for this weekend. We are finally getting some snow. Hopefully good skiing over this long weekend. I deserve a gift since I'm in the cold snowy weather, while my husband is in Florida golfing!
ReplyDeleteI love the table runner. The color would work so well with my decor.
ReplyDeleteI'd like a little snow here before the winter ends - nothing drastic, but still...thanks for a chance to win - laurie
ReplyDeletellsbaskets@comcast.net
We finally just received a little snow. It's a perfect weekend to sit and sew. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteI do not have any shop near me that are doing the Stash Society, darn it. The pattern is great, I love stars, and the pattern can be used to make so many beautiful runners using different fabrics. What a great giveaway. Thank you Corinne
ReplyDeletedemoncori@aol.com
Lovely! Might just need a little snow come Monday...they say ours will be gone by then.
ReplyDeleteThis looks fun. Pick me! Pick me!!
ReplyDeleteI always love stars and really like your table runner. My goal for this winter is to make a dent in my stash, so will follow along
ReplyDeleteWe haven't had much snow yet and this would be just enough.
ReplyDeleteI love this pattern! Would love to win some snow!
ReplyDeleteThis is my kind of snow! Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great table runner. (No snow in NC yet this year!) Thanks for a chance to win!
ReplyDeleteThanks for making the stash patterns available to those of us who don't have a LQS that offers them. As I get older, I don't really care for the snow or cold weather. I live in WI though so I have to deal with it. We just got our first snow and have been lucky with warm (40 - 50 degree) days. I do love quilty things made with the blues and also with snowflake or snowmen and the like. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteOh great news!! I'm one of the unlucky souls that isn't by a participating shop. I look forward to this new club. Thanks for the chance to win!!! janet
ReplyDeleteVery nice table runner! Thanks for the giveaway. We don't have much snow in AB, but next week is bringing some with very cold temperatures.
ReplyDeleteOh, I would love to make this star table runner! Thanks for the chance to win the pattern. Love the colors here. :)
ReplyDeleteOMG!!!! That is too darn cute!!! Maybe thats what I'll make for next years Christmas gifts. It looks like it would work up fairly quickly. Thank You for the great idea.
ReplyDeleteI like to change the table runners in our kitchen often. Thanks for the chance to win this pretty pattern. It would be perfect. Cindy O'Dear
ReplyDeleteLove it! Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteVery fun thanks for a chance to win
ReplyDeleteI believe you can never have too many table runners. No snow in our part of Idaho either, ski hills are sitting idle. I tried your Chicken Marsala and just want to let you know it is one of the best and easiest dinners I have ever made, family loved it as well. I will be making this again. Thanks for the recipe and a chance to win.
ReplyDeleteLike the pattern, especially the colors. Thanks for a chance to win.
ReplyDeleteVery appropriate and pretty! It's been so chilly here (St. Louis area) I'm busy with projects to keep me snuggled up at home. Finishing a Christmas runner (better late than never), continuing a flannel throw, and piecing bedroom curtain panels. I really should get on with that sweatshirt jacket......
ReplyDeleteI love blues and tans, this is very pretty! Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute pattern!! I do love snow esp. since I am retired and DO NOT have to get out in it!!! I would be happy to claim that gift!! Thank you, Patty D from Crystal City, MO.
